Italjet was founded in 1959. The Roadster is not the product of a trend-driven startup chasing the latest wave. It is the result of 66 years of a family devoted to Italian two-wheelers. That heritage is rare, authentic, and impossible to replicate. It cannot be manufactured, copied, or bought.

DLAS Dynamic Linkage Articulated Steering

The DLAS System is Italjet’s patented front-end design that redefines steering precision through a two-piece scissor linkage, in which the lower element integrates both the wheel spindle and the fixed brake mount.

This simplified, highly rigid structure reduces components and enhances steering accuracy while preserving Italjet’s distinctive handling character. Unlike conventional steering layouts, DLAS operates independently of the suspension system, making it adaptable across multiple Italjet models, from the Roadster to future motorcycles, while maintaining a consistent steering feel and mechanical purity.

to the 2026 Roadster The same family. The same obsession

The Roadster was born from a flash of genius by Massimo Tartarini, the desire to celebrate the brand's sportiness with the origins of the scooter, where it all began. The 1995 Velocifero was a promise of freedom. The Roadster is its radical realisation.

The Roadster is the spiritual cousin of the Velocifero, carrying forward the same instinct to provoke, excite, and stand apart. But where the Velocifero hinted at rebellion, the Roadster turns it into something far more extreme: lower, sharper, more mechanical, and more unapologetic. It is not a revival. It is the bloodline evolved.

The Roadster Founders Edition is the beginning, not the end. Your reservation confirms your place within the official allocation and, once confirmed, places you inside the first custodian circle. From there, we will communicate only when there is something meaningful to say.

Once your order is secured, you will receive confirmation of your reservation. At this stage, this confirmation is the official record that your place within the Roadster Founders Edition allocation has been registered.

We will not flood you with empty updates. The Roadster is a limited, numbered machine, and the next communication will come when there is a clear and useful update regarding production and delivery.

When delivery becomes clear

Once we have a clear picture of physical delivery timing, we will contact you directly. At that point we will advise when your Roadster is entering the next stage and when your machine is on its way.

The Roadster range continues

After the Founders Edition, the Roadster will continue as a series-production model. This future version will not be limited to 777 units and will not require entry into the Founders Edition allocation process.

It will also be different. The Founders Edition colours will never be repeated, and the series-production Roadster will not feature the Founders Edition build plaque, Öhlins suspension, or Akrapovič exhaust system.
